Think of tea time as time well spent.
Although we Americans don’t take tea time quite as seriously as the British (Boston, 1773) we can still always find a couple minutes a day to squeeze in a couple minutes for fresh, steaming, health-boosting cup of herbal medicine.
Dating tea is like trying to date the dinosaurs. It seems it’s always been around, although rumor has it the Chinese started using tea around 4K-5K years ago. The benefits of drinking tea are enough to classify it as medicine vs. food. Let’s steep our philosophy in this ancient grandfather of remedies.
NUTRITION – 5 stars
I’ll try to be brief here:
- Cancer fighter via massive levels of antioxidants
- Helps fight against diabetes
- Supports immune system
- Boosts alertness
- Lowers stress hormones
- Slows cognitive decline (Alzheimer’s, etc.)
- Inhibits HIV virus for those who have it
- Fights against bowl and intestinal diseases
- Helps balance iron levels in the body
- Treats bacteria and fungal infections
- Supports cardiovascular health and lowers stroke chances significantly
- Packs an anti-depressant punch
- Many, many, many more. Drink it up!
SIMPLICITY – 5 stars
- Heating water takes time. But tea is so good for you that we have to give it a full 15 stars. Plus, straight out of the bag may work.
AFFORDABILITY – 5 stars
- Weighing your cups of tea by the pound yields a VERY low price/weight ratio. No problem here.
- May save you so many trips to the doctor that you’ll actually make a profit on buying tea
There is so much more to say, but we are going to leave it at that. It’s so simply good for you that we should all just do it.
Cheers!

A 3rd and last special thank you.
